EMU Space Allocation and Review Process

EMU Space Allocation and Review Process

The Erb Memorial Union allocates spaces to departments, programs, services, student organizations, tenants, retail vendors, and reservable areas for meetings and events. As the student union of the University of Oregon, the EMU is a welcoming, mixed-use hub designed to foster community, connection, and belonging. In allocating space, the EMU balances its role in creating a student-friendly, service-oriented environment with the need to generate revenue that helps keep the student fee as low as possible. Because space is a limited resource, submitting an application does not guarantee an assignment, a perfect fit, or a timely placement. The links below will help you explore the pathways to becoming part of our community.

ASUO Student Organization Spaces

ASUO Student Organizations may apply for space through the EMU Board’s House Committee. When space becomes available, the EMU Board will open applications on Engage.
