Who: Current administrative units seeking new space, relocation, or changes within the EMU (not student organizations or vendors/retail)
Priority Application Window: November 3, 2025–January 30, 2026
- Opens: 8:00 a.m., Monday, November 3, 2025
- Priority Review Begins: 5:00 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2026
- Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and will be reviewed on an ongoing schedule.
Requirements if Approved:
- Obtain approval from dean/director/associate vice president/vice president
- Sign an MOU outlining shared responsibilities and any applicable fees
- Compliance with university and EMU policies and procedures
- Participate in review process on impact and usage every other year (each fall term ending in an even number)
- Ability to appropriately resources space (furniture, supplies, staffing, etc.)
Next Steps: Applicants will be contacted for more information or when space becomes available. All applicants will receive updates on their application by the end of winter term 2026.
