KWVA is UO’s student-run campus radio station. We provide alternative musical, informational and cultural programming 24/7. DJs are volunteer students and community members who program their own shows. We offer students practical news, sports, weather and entertainment broadcasting experience as well as training in the management and operation of a radio station.

The Oregon Commentator is an independent, student-run journal of opinion. We print a wide variety of material, but our main purpose is to show students that a political philosophy of conservatism, free thought and individual liberty is an intelligent way of looking at the world. We combine reporting with opinion, humor and feature articles.

The Oregon Daily Emerald is the UO's independent student newspaper that serves as a forum for news and opinion, and as a student voice for the entire university community. All editors and reporters are students. They also strive to train UO students in every aspect of newspaper publication.

The Insurgent is an alternative student-directed newspaper of the left. We provide a forum for those working towards a society free from oppression based on class, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, race and free from environmental collapse. We are unaffiliated with any partisan organization.
