| Posted March 19, 2008 The Art of Defiance: A Graffiti Art Show Apr 4-26 :: Adell McMillan Art GalleryOpen reception April 4th :: 6-9pm :: music :: live painting by the artists Three local graffiti artists of varying style will showcase the work that they would normally have to create in secrecy. Jacob Hutchins, Zack Wilkins-Malloy and Jon have been working the street art angle for a combined 30 some years. As most graffiti is painted illegally on walls of buildings and train cars, this show allows the artists to really conceptualize an idea, as well as allow the audience to stop and actually look and make sense of the work.
